I felt compelled to do this flag to show the revolution of resistance to oppression that measures violating Puerto Ricans human rights such as; the sterilization of Puerto Rican women, Vieques Bombing, Dr Cornelis Rhoads, The Ponce Massacre, The Gag Law, The Jones Act, Hurricane Maria and the tip of the iceberg The resignation of Ricky Rosselló.
In this media, there are images of theses events as well as historical pioneers. But the key element of this media is the broken mirror because it’s objective is to reflect on the broken past of Puerto Rico; yet, also reflect on the new generation of change which begins with you, us and all Boricuas.
